Funeral services for 73-year Big Pine resident Elvarine 
Arlene Collins, will be held Wednesday, Feb. 26 at 11 a.m. 
at the Brune and Buck Mortuary Chapel in Bishop.

Shirley Summers of Lighthouse Pentecostal Church will 
officiate. Interment is to follow at the Woodman Cemetery 
in Big Pine.

Born Feb. 11, 1930 in Big Pine, Elvarine died Feb. 20, 
2003 at the Reche Canyon Rehabilitation Center in Colton.

She was the daughter of Mitt and Lucy Sepsey. Preceding 
Elvarine in death were husband, Charles Collins, and three 
sons, Gary Sepsey, Sr., Dennis L. Shaw and Colin Collins.

Elvarine is survived by daughters, Linda Spratt and 
Charlene Collins of Big Pine; sisters, Del Zella Madina 
and Margie Piper of Big Pine; cousin, Angie Bevers; and 
grandchildren, Sheena Sepsey, Thomas Spratt, Claude Spratt, 
Jr., Briana Barlow, Riana Clark, Twyla Sepsey Blacksheep, 
Rebecca Spratt, Denay Shaw, Aaron Rave, Nichola Rave, Gary 
Sepsey, Jr. and Talia Eagle.
