Emily Palmira Paul 1922-2004 A graveside service will be held at the East Line Street Cemetery on Tuesday, Nov. 9 at 11 a.m. for Emily Palmira Paul. Father John Gracey will be officiating the service. Emily was born on Aug. 3, 1922 in Loomis and died on Nov. 3, 2004 at her home with loved ones at her side. Emily came to Bishop in 1941 and worked for Gus Schultz at the Five and Dime Sore before going to work at Safeway and later moving on to Joseph's Bi-Rite Market. She retired in 1980. Emily was a member of the Bishop Country Club, the Bishop Women's Bowling Association, Lady Bills, and the VFW Auxiliary. She loved to bowl, golf and travel. Emily is survived by her husband of 54 years, Niley; daughter and son—in-law, Deidre and Terry Togneietti of Katy, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Linda and Jerry Knapp of Bishop; grandsons, Dominic, Gabriel, and Nicholas Tognietti of Katy, Texas, Curtis Knapp of Bishop and Christopher and Katy Knapp of Sparks, Nev.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
