Funeral Services Held Sunday

Funeral services were held in Bishop Monday for Ernest Louis Ray; who passed 
away at San Diego Jan. 28 at the age of 71.

Mr. Ray who had been with the state division of highways at Bishop some 20 years 
ago was well known throughout the area.

Graveside services were conducted at the Pioneer Cemetery by Rev. Laing Sibbet 
assisted by the Woodmen of the World.

Mr. Ray leaves a daughter Freida Duncan and a granddaughter Ruth Compton who 
drove from San Diego for the services.  Mrs. Ray passed away 13 years ago.

He is also survived by two brothers in Oregon and was a brother-in-law of Mrs. A. 
J. Patterson of Bishop.
