Evalena Patton
1924-2004

Graveside funeral services will be held at the Independence Cemetery at 11 a.m. 
on Friday, Oct. 8 for 25-year Aberdeen resident Evalena Patton.  Pastor Chris 
Costello of Oasis of Grace Foursquare Church will officiate.  A gathering will 
follow the services at 271 Walnut St., Big Pine.

Born in Coudersport, Pa. on July 22, 1924, Evalena died Oct. 4, 2004 in 
Ridgecrest.

Evalena served as a registered nurse at Southern Inyo Hospital in Lone Pine for 
many years.

Evalena is survived by daughters and sons-in-law, JoAnn Eade and Larry Leonard 
of Huntington Park, Marilee and Jim Whitlock of Big Pine and Patricia J. and Jim 
Grose of Sun City West, Ariz.; two grandchildren, Kimberly Pejsa and Melissa 
Witting; and two great-grandchildren, Timothy and Courtney Pejsa.
