Florence Murphy

Funeral services will be held Jan. 22 for Florence W. Murphy, 97, formerly of Independence, following 
her death Jan. 16 at Sierra House, South.

The Rev. Theodore Hampton of the Pioneer Methodist Church will officiate at the service, to be held 
at graveside.  Burial will be in Live Oak Memorial Park, Monrovia, Calif. 

Mrs. Murphy was born May 22, 1884 in Canton, Ill.

She is survived by her daughter-in-law, Pauline Murphy of Independence; one brother, James Walker of Osawatomie, Kan.; four grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.
