Frank E. (Cooney) Harry
1927 - 2003

Honoring his request, no services will be held for lifetime Lone Pine resident Frank E. (Cooney) 
Harry, 75.

Born in Keeler on Dec. 23, 1927, Mr. Harry died on April 29, 2003 at Southern Inyo Hospital.

Frank attended Lone Pine schools and later joined the Army, serving at Trieste, Italy at the end 
of World War II.  He worked for Pacific Motor Trucking for more than 30 years.  He was a member 
of the Lone Pine Fire Department, serving as a fireman, Assistant Chief, and later as a 
commissioner.  Frank was a pilot and loved to fly until his health prevented him.

He is survived by daughters, Cheryl Pagard of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Regina Harry of 
Fresno; sons, Darrell Harry of Kearns, Utah, and Steve Harry of Lone Pine; sister, Jean 
Tortorello of New Jersey; former wife, Beverly Harry of Lone Pine; six grandchildren and 
numerous nieces and nephews.
