Another Liberty Boy is taken from life Frank Parrish of Independence, Victim of Pneumonia at Camp Kearney Another Inyo soldier has died in training camp. Frank Parrish, called to the colors from Independence, September 24th died at Camp Kearney, December 30th, from pneumonia, following an attack of measles. With other in that draft, he went to Camp Lewis, and was sent to Camp Kearney when Lewis became crowded. He was a member of I company, 160th Infantry. The body was shipped to his mother at Arroyo Grande, San Luis Obispo county. Deceased was a half brother of J. H. Myers, now of Plant Four. Mr. Myers had a letter from him, dated December 20th, saying that he would come to Bishop for the holidays. He had many friends in this county, who will deeply regret his untimely loss. He was born at Arroyo Grande August 26, 1889, and at the time of his death was 28 years, 4 months, 4 days old.
