Genevieve I. Weier
1919 - 2003

Per her request, there will be no memorial services for former Bishop resident Genevieve I. Weier, 83.

Born Nov. 2, 1919 in Detroit, Mich., Mrs. Weier died at her home on May 28, 2003.

She was a 15-year resident of Simi Valley and enjoyed being busy with the Senior Center in Moorpark, 
where she made lots of friends.

Before moving to Simi Valley, she was a longtime resident of Bishop and Long Valley, working the last 
few years for the Bishop Unified School District as its kitchen manager.

She is survived by children and their spouses, Diane Schwarz of Colorado, Pat and Mo Bewley of Simi 
Valley, Mike and Linda Weier of Bishop and Linda and Joe Sahagan of Riverside; 11 grandchildren; 17 
great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren.

The family has asked that donations be made to the Hospice.
