Genevieve Lura Arcularius Clement 1913-2003 Funeral services for Genevieve Lura Arcularius Clement, 90, a member of a pioneer Owens Valley family, will be held Tuesday, April 29, 1 p.m., in the Brune & Buck Mortuary Chapel in Bishop. Rev. Caddy Jackson of the First United Methodist Church will officiate. Mrs. Clement was born Feb. 27, 1913 in Round Valley, and died April 25, 2003 at her residence in Bishop. She and her husband, H. Newell Clement, who preceded her in death, were married for 60 years. Genevieve operated the Arcularius Ranch fishing resort for more than 35 years. She was a Red Cross representative during World War II and was a member of the American Red Cross, staying involved in local blood drives. She was also one of the founding members of the Bishop Golf Club when it originated near the Bishop Airport, and was one of the original members of the Northern Inyo Hospital Auxiliary. She was also a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, Order of Eastern Star, Athena, and Inyo and Mono counties' historical societies. Survivors include daughters, Susan Cullen of Riversideand Lura Weaver of Smith Nev.; granddaughter, Kathy Carr of Sparks, Nev.; grandsons, Dan Weaver of Susanville, Corey Cullen of Whittier, and Spc. Newell Cullen of the U.S. Army; and seven great- grandchildren. Donations may be sent to: Laws Railroad Museum, P.O.
