Requiem Mass for George Shepard

A requiem mass was said Wednesday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church for George Jackson Shepard, who died
March 9, 1968, at Loma Linda.  He was 50.

Rev. C. Badesen celebrated the mass, which was followed by burial in Pioneer Cemetery.  A rosary was said March 12
at Talmage Chapel.

Mr. Shepard was born October 23, 1917, in Council Bluffs, Iowa.  He was the brother of Julienne Sargent of Bishop.

He is survived by two daughters, Madelineine Starnes of Okinawa, and Robin Mona Shepard of Altadena; three sisters, 
Julienne Sargent of Bishop, Ethel Reisinger of Hemet, and Katherine Rice of Hollywood; and three brothers , Walter
Shepard of Seal Beach, Joseph Shepard of Phoenix, Ariz., and Ned Shepard of Southgate.
