Geo. Rome Dies; Funeral Sunday

George Rome, 69, resident of Bishop since 1910, passed-away at 1 a.m. 
this morning (Thursday) at the Northern Inyo Hospital.  He had been in 
the hospital for the past several weeks, following a heart attack.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, at the Blake Funeral 
Chapel in Bishop.

Masonic funeral rites will probably be held under the auspices of 
Winnedumah Lodge No. 287, F and A. M. Mr. Rome was a member of the 
Cambridge, Mass., Masonic lodge.
