Funeral services are private for 26-year Bishop resident Goldie Barbara Brown, 
76.

Born in Detroit, Mich. On July 17, 1926, Mrs. Brown died on July 3, 2003 at 
Northern Inyo Hospital.

She was a member of Mt. Whitney Chapter 197 of the Order of Eastern Star.

Goldie is survived by husband, Howard Cleveland Brown of Bishop; sons, Darryl H. 
Brown of Simi Valley and Mark R. Brown of Simi Valley; grandchildren, Melanie 
Breown of Moreno Valley, Stefanie Brown of Simi Valley and Ryan Brown of Simi 
Valley, and many friends.

Interment will be private.
