Harold L. Wells
1921 - 2003

Funeral services will be held for 61-year Bishop resident Harold L. Wells, 81, 
on Friday, June 27, at the East Line Street Cemetery at 10 a.m.  Jim Upson, Past 
Master of the Winnedumah Lodge 287, will officiate.

Born in Ontario, Ore. On Dec. 17, 1921, Mr. Wells died on June 20, 2003 in 
Billings, Mont.

A Bishop resident since 1942, Harold was an avid hunter and outdoorsman.  He 
loved his family and friends, and his faithful dog, Pat.  His lifelong love was 
always with the mountains and his four-legged, long-eared mules.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Louise Lueck Wells.

Harold is survived by sons, Donald R. Wells of Indonesia and Frank R. Wells of 
Glenrock, Wyo.; daughter, Susan K. Murray of Running Springs, Calif., twin 
brother, Harry L. Wells of Bishop; grandchildren, Joanie Smith of Shepherd, 
Mont., Frank Wells of Creston, Iowa, Carrie Weaver of Riverside, Kelly Zeen of 
Ontario, Calif., China Wells of Norco, and Broady wells of Norco; and great-
grandchild, Nathan Wells of Creston, Iowa.
