Harry Alston

Funeral services were held Tuesday, for Harry Alston 
of Bishop, following his death March 6 at Northern 
Inyo Hospital.  He was 81.

The Rev. Sidney H. Byrd of the Valley Presbyterian 
Church officiated at the service, held at Don Talmage 
Chapel.  Burial was in Woodman cemetery, Big Pine.

Mr. Alston was born April 10, 1889 in Fish Lake 
Valley, NV.

He is survived by one sister, Mrs. Lizzie Bacoch, Big 
Pine; three nephews, John Bacoch of Big Pine, Cleve 
Bacoch of Highland Partk, and Joe Herrington of 
Vallejo; and two nieces, Mrs. Minnie Sylvas, Carson, 
CA, and Mrs. Belle Garcia, Truckee.

Pallbearers were Leroy Keller, Clarence Thomas, Issac 
Baker, Tony Fred, Ed Fred, and Russell Rambeau.
