Mrs. Isabella Bulpitt Another of the Christian mothers of the community has passed to her reward. Mrs. Isabella Grace Bulpitt died at the family home here on Sunday morning, at the age of 76 years. Her illness had been protracted, and its fatal termination was foreseen. Mrs. Bulpitt was a native of Prince Edwards Island. From that province she went to Massachusetts, in the middle '70s the family moved to Bishop, which has since been their home. She took an active interest in matters of the Methodist church, more particularly during the earlier years of her residence, before her devotion to family and home claimed almost her sole attention. Three children survive her - Fred H. Bulpitt, Miss Harriett Bulpitt, and Edward R. Bulpitt, all of Bishop. A grandson John M. Bulpitt to whom she filled a mother's place for the first seven or eight years of his childhood, was also among those at the bedside as life ebbed away. She was a sister of Charles A. and John McKay, former Bishopites who have passed away.
