Jack Cunningham Many here recall Jack W. Cunningham, who was located here as district agent for the Richfield Company. The following from the Reno Gazette tell of his death in that city Wednesday of last week. Jack Cunningham, district sales manager in the Reno district for the Richfield Oil Company, was found dead at this home on Lander Street, shortly after ten o'clock this morning. Gas was flowing from a heater in the small breakfast nook where the body was found. An investigation by the corner and police pointed to suicide. The found a note containing a message "That he was tired of living." Cunningham was alone at the house. His wife and child went to Elko several days ago to visit Mrs. Cunningham's mother, Mrs. C. C. Griswold. According to close friends here, Cunningham had been complaining of feeling ill in recent weeks, and only recently told his brother-in-law, Lieut. Gov. Morley Griswold that he suffered from pains in his head. Cunningham was a native of Cripple Creek, Colo., and was thirty-three years of age. He was a son of the late Dr. B. F. Cunningham and of Mrs. Clara I. Cunningham, former deputy county clerk. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Rae Griswold Cunningham, a seven-year-old son, and by two brothers, Fred of Reno and Ben of San Francisco, and by an uncle, Dr. David L. Shaw of Reno.
