James P. Forrey, well known to many here, died in a hospital in Tonopah Saturday as a result of injuries received when he was struck on the head by a windlass handle. He was lifting water from the well of a Tonopah dairy when the bucket caught on a timber; the handle was pulled from his hands, and struck him on the head as it revolved. He was but semi-conscious for nearly two weeks after the accident. Blood poisoning set in, and an operation was undertaken to save his life, but it was unsuccessful. Deceased was half-brother of George McKenna, also well known to many Bishop people.
