James Ray Phemister

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Feb. 23, 
at 11 a.m. for James Ray Phemister of Bishop, 
following his death Feb. 20 at Northern Inyo 
Hospital.  He was 48.

The Rev. Ron T. Roberts of the First United 
Methodist Church will officiate at the service, 
to be held at the Brune and Buck Chapel.  
Burial will be held in the East Line Street 
Cemetery.

Mr. Phemister was born Aug. 11, 1934 in 
Illinois.

He is survived by his wife, Joan Phemister 
of Bishop; one son, Jim Phemister of Santa 
Ana, CA; one brother, Jeffrey Phemister of 
Los Angeles; and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. 
James A. Phemister of Bishop.
