James Robert Volkerding

Memorial services will be held for three-year Bakersfield
resident James Robert Volkerding, 55, on Friday, Nov. 15,
at the Brune and Buck Mortuary Chapel at 3 p.m.

Born Nov. 6, 1947 in New Albany, Tenn., Mr. Volkerding died
on Nov. 11 at the Emanuel L. Park View Convalescent Home
in Bakersfield.

James served in the Navy in Vietnam from 1965 to 1969.

He is survived by wife, Patricia Lynn Johns Volkerding of
Alexandria, Va.; son, Jason Volkerding of Bishop; and
daughter, Kelly Volkerding of Alexandria.
