Joe Salas

Funeral services were held Sunday, July 8, for Joe Salas, 26, of Rovana, 
following his death July 5, in a motorcycle accident near Olancha.

Msgr. Gilbert Meyer of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church officiated at 
the service, held at Brune-Talmage Chapel.  Burial was in East Line St. 
cemetery.

Pallbearers were J. Neil Gordon, Dewey Smarat, Larry Hargis, Tony 
Shafer, Jim Neeley, Ken Hurtubise, Sheldon Steuber.

Mr. Salas was born Sept. 13, 1952 in Jackson, California.  He is 
survived by his wife Patricia; a son, Jason Perigen; three daughters, 
Ilya, Samantha, and Jessica Salas; mother and father, Mr. and Mrs. Jose 
Salas of Modesto, CA; a brother, George Salas; and a sister, Yolanda 
Salas.

Those wishing to honor the memory of Joe Salas may contribute to their
