John Alan Petermann

Graveside funeral services were held Thursday, Feb. 27 at 2 p.m. for John 
Alan Petermann, 64, who passed away February 25 at Furnace Creek.  The 
Reverend Ben Sparks, Mt. Whitney Baptist Church of Lone Pine officiated.  
Interment was in Mt. Whitney Cemetery.

Mr. Petermann was born March 6, 1921 in Lauriun, Michigan.  He had been an 
electronic technician for 30 years.

Survivors include his daughter, Frances Masura or Eugene, Oregon; sister, 
Grace Ivers of Albany, Oregon; brothers David Petermann of Barstow, CA and 
James Peterman of Beaverton, Ore.
