John G. Tipton

A graveside service was conducted in Mt. Whitney 
cemetery March 23 for John G. Tipton, 69, of 
Tecopa, who died March 19 at his home.  The Rev. 
Billy J. Goins of Lone Pine officiated.  Mr. 
Tipton would have been 70 next April 16.

Surviving are a son, Gilbert of Modesto; a 
daughter, Viola Derrington of Riverside; two 
sisters, Irene McLaren and Lisa Quast, both in 
Oregon; 14 grandchildren and four great 
grandchildren.
