John Lucas

Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 28 at 10:30 a.m. at Brune & Buck Chapel 
for John Lucas, 75, who passed away February 25 at Northern Inyo Hospital.  Elder 
Leland Hesseltine and Pastor Owen J. Bandy of the Bishop Seventh Day Adventist 
Church will officiate.  Interment will be in East Line Street Cemetery.

Mr. Lucas was born in Winterset, Iowa on Jan. 4, 1911.  He had been a resident of 
this area for 45 years.

Survivors include his wife, Erma Lucas of Bishop; sons Jay Lucas and Dan Lucas, 
both of Bishop; daughters Charlotte Farnsworth of Carson City, NV, and Marilyn 
Carcish of Pulman, WA; brother, Clarence "Shorty" Lucas of Winterset, Iowa; 15 
grandchildren and 22 grandchildren.

Those who wish may donate to the Hospice of the Owens Valley.
