John R. Knox John Reuben Knox died at his home just north of town on Tuesday. He was a native of Kearney, Nebraska, where he was born March 17, 1887. His residence in this community has been of a very few years duration. He was, for a short time, in the blacksmith business in partnership with Harry Nobles, and during that time patented a new device in ditching apparatus. He was among those sent to Camp Lewis for military service, but was discharged because of failure to satisfactorily pass the heart tests. He was married December 18, 1917...
