John R. Steele

Graveside funeral services will be held today, Friday, February 21 at 1 p.m. 
for John R. Steele, 71, who passed away on February 18 at Northern Inyo 
Hospital.  The Reverend Ron T. Roberts of the First United Methodist Church 
will officiate.  Interment will be in East Line Street Cemetery.

Mr. Steele was born in Indiana on February 2, 1915.  He had been a resident 
of Bishop for 13 years.

Survivors include his sons, Dennis Steele of Long Beach, John "Bud" Steele 
of Bishop; grandchildren, Will Steele, Mathew Steele, Hether Steele and 
Andrew Steele; brothers, Bill Steel of Denton, Texas and Bobbie Steele of 
Phoenix, Arizona; sister, Mary Jane Will of Mission Viejo, CA.
