Jon Zeilstra

A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, Nov. 15
at the First United Methodist Church in Bishop for 24-year 
resident Jon Zeilstra.

Born in Apeldoorn, Holland March 1, 1929, Mr. Zeilstra died 
Nov. 7, 2002 at Northern Inyo Hospital in Bishop.

A long-time member of the Bishop Rotary Club, he was 
preceded in death by Shirley K. Zeilstra in 1992.

He is survived by wife, Jean Zeilstra of Bishop; sons and 
daughters-in-law, John E. and Wendy Zeilstra of Bishop, and
Larry S. and Debbie Zeilstra of Klamath Falls, Ore.; 
grandchildren, Tim, Mark, Christopher and Curtis; stepsons,
John, Jeffrey, James, Jason and Jeremy Hall; and 10 step-
grandchildren.

Donations may be made in Jon's honor to: Hospice of the 
Owens Valley, 155 Pioneer Lane, Bishop, CA 93514; or the
First United Methodist Church Building Fund, 205 N. Fowler
St., Bishop, CA 93514.
