Joseph A. Walecke

1914-2003

A mass will be held for three-year Bishop resident 
Joseph A. Walecke, 88, at 9 a.m., Saturday, March 22, at 
Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Bishop. 
Father Charles B. Casale will act as Celebrant.

Born in Canada on August. 28, 1914, Mr. Walecke died on 
March 18, 2003 at Northern Inyo Hospital.

He is survived by wife, Charlotte of Bishop; son, Gary 
Walecke of Lee Vining; daughters, Brenda Fischer of Morgan 
Hill and Diane Bailey of Paso Robles; and two grandchildren.

Interment will be at the East Line Street Cemetery.
