Joseph Lent
1949 - 2003

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Oct. 25 at 2 p.m. at the Bridgeport Community Hall for Joseph Lent, 
54.  The Lent Family will officiate.  There will be a visitation tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 24, from 6-8 p.m. 
at Brune & Buck Mortuary in Bishop.

Born in Bishop on March 16, 1949, Joseph died Oct. 21, 2003 at Washoe Medical Center in Reno, Nev.  He was 
a resident of Bridgeport for 22 years.

Joseph served in the U.S. Marine Corps in Vietnam, and was a member of the VFW.  He was also a Unified 
School District board member for 11 years in Bridgeport, and was curator of the Mono County Museum in 
Bridgeport.

Joseph is survived by wife, Mary Lent of Bridgeport; mother, Marjorie Lent of LeMoore; children, Amber 
Padilla Lent of Joplin, Mo., and Leslie Lent, Alvin Lent, Paul Lent, Christian Lent and Benjamin Lent, all 
of Bridgeport; sisters, Brenda Lent Reynosa of Walker, Vallerie Estrada of Redding, Paul Lent of LeMoore; 
brothers Ervin Lent Sr., of Bishop, Mervin Lent of Susanville and Phillip Lent of LeMoore; and four 
grandchildren.
