Joseph M. Sjaarda

Funeral services were held Monday, for Joseph Martin Sjaarda, of Bishop, following his death November 24, at his home.  
He was 56.

The Rev. Fred Emery officiated at the service, held at Olive Lawn cemetery, La Mirada.

Mr. Sjaarda was born March 28, 1915, in Coleman, Mo.  He was the owner of the Valley Motel in Bishop.

He is survived by his wife, Mary, Bishop; three sons, Larry Sjaarda of Orange, Donald Sjaarda, with the U. S. Army in 
Berlin, and Joseph Martin Sjaarda Jr., New York, Calif., and 10 grandchildren.
