Joseph Raymond Fidel

A rosary will be said for 15-year Chalfant Valley resident and 
one-year Bishop resident Joseph Raymond Fidel, 71, on Thursday, 
Feb. 6, at the Brune and Buck Mortuary Chapel in Bishop at 
7 p.m.

Additionally, a mass will be held on Friday, Feb. 7, at Our 
Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church at 10 a.m. in Bishop, 
Father Charles B. Casale will act as celebrant.

Born in Las Vegas, N.M. on August 31, 1931, Mr. Fidel died on 
Feb. 3, 2003 at his home in Bishop.

Joseph was a lifetime member of the Disabled American Veterans.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Louise and Charles 
Fidel.

Joseph is survived by wife, Darlene Fidel of Bishop; sons, Mark 
Fidel of Crescent City, Charles Fidel of Ridgecrest, Anthony 
Fidel of Bishop; daughters, Yasmin Childs of Bishop and 
Evangelene Fidel of Bishop; sisters, Sylvia Jones of Long Beach, 
and Dhelia Lett and Julia Zampino of Seal Beach; seven 
grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Interment will be at the East Line Street Cemetery in Bishop.
