Julia (Missy) Baird Graveside services were held at the East Line Street Cemetery for Julia Janel (Missy) Baird of Tonopah today, Oct. 21. The 19-year-old nurses aid died from injuries received in a recreational vehicle rollover accident in Nevada Monday. Miss Baird, formerly of Bishop, attended school here and was well known. She moved to Tonopah in 1980 and was graduated from Grants Pass Community College in June. Miss Baird is survived by Charles Baird, father of San Diego; Michael and Julie Bradford, Step-father and mother of Tonopah; three sisters, Jody Hoots of Reno, Sandy Baird of Tonopah and Sherrie May of Mobile, AL; grandmother, Jan Crystal of Deep Springs College; grandfather, Dick Crabtree of Santa Ana; and grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Harry Randolph of Ontario. Earlier services were held in the Logan-Carlson Mortuary Chapel of Tonopah. The Rev. Allen Causey, Tonopah Assembly of God Church, officiated.
