Kenneth Lorin Burger

Kenneth Lorin Burger, 58, died July 9 at his residence 
in Bishop.  Services were held July 16 at Valley 
Presbyterian Church, the Rev. J. Hackett Johnson 
officiating.  Burial was in East Line St. Cemetery.

Pallbearers were Darryll Knowlton, Phil Hutton, Al 
Hadeler, Tom Ingram, Mike Weier, and Pete Maron.

Mr. Burger was born November 28, 1915, in Edwards 
County, Kan.

He is survived by his wife, Elva; a daughter, Mrs. 
Elaine Meiburg of Sebastopol; two brothers, John 
Clayton Burger of El Centro and Keith Burger of Elk 
Grove; one sister, Mrs. Muriel Sharp of Linden; and 
five grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked that 
contributions be made to a favorite charity or the 
First Presbyterian Church.
