Mrs. Peregoy

Died, in Bishop, Sunday night, November 3d, Mrs. Frank Peregoy, 
a native of California, aged 46 years, 4 months, 14 days.

Mrs. Peregoy, whose maiden name was Leila Charlotte Hunt, was 
born in Bear Valley, Mariposa county, June 9, 1872.  She was 
married there in [unable to read].  She came to Bishop about 
ten years ago, and the family has since been here or in this 
vicinity.

Her friends were many.  Though health did not always permit 
her to be active, her interest was with things for betterment 
of conditions.  Those who knew her best realize that the 
community has sustained real loss in her passing.

Her husband, Frank C. Peregoy, a son, Lester, and daughter, 
Mrs. S. P. Griffith are in Bishop.  Her mother lives at 
Livingston, Merced county, and a brother, Jesse Hunt, is a 
merchant of that place.  Another brother, Theodore Hunt, is 
in Merced, and Ethridge Hunt, a brother, and Edward True, a 
half brother, are at Bear Valley.
