Lois Alice Curtis

1910 - 2003

Funeral services for Lois Alice Curtis, 92, will take place Monday, May 5, 11 a.m. at the Calvary 
Baptist Church in Bishop, with Rev. Paul Linder officiating.  Graveside services will be provided 
by Mt. Whitney Chapter No. 197, Order of Eastern Star.

A resident of Bishop for 28 years, Mrs. Curtis was born June 1, 1910 in Aberdeen, Id.  She died 
at her home in Bishop on April 28, 2003.

Lois was a retired health care administrator and was a member of the California Association of 
Residential Care Facilities.  She twice served as Worthy Matron of the Mt. Whitney Chapter No. 
197, Order of Easter Star.

Regarded by her family and friends as a great cook, Lois also enjoyed crochet and knitting, and 
china painting.

Survivors include daughter, Reta Zollars of Bishop, grandson, Don Zollars of Bishop; 
granddaughter, Monica Zollars Tautkus of Camarillo, Calif.; and great-grandchildren, Brian 
Zollars and Jonathan Tautkus.

She was preceded in death by her first husband of 56 years, Clifford Bedford, and second 
husband of four years, Cliff Curtis.

Interment will be at East Line Street Cemetery.
