Margaret Loder

Mrs. Margaret L. Loder of 694 North Main Street, 
Lone Pine, died March 24 at Lasky's Convalescent 
hospital.  She was born October 14, 1899 in 
Independence and had lived there and in Lone 
Pine all her life.  Mrs. Loder was the widow of 
Audie Loder, a department of water and power 
employee who died in December 1968.

Survivors are two daughters, Doris Buckner of 
Lemoore and Margaret Gulick of Ridgecrest; five 
sons, Leslie of Glendale, Lawrence of Olancha, 
Leland and Jesse of Lone Pine, Frank of 
Independence; two brothers, Frank Lawrence of 
Independence and  Jesse Lawrence of Ukiah; two 
sisters, Eve Fowler of Fairfield and Ellen 
Mitchell of Big Pine.  There are 14 
grandchildren and a great grandchild.

The Rev. Charles C. Mitchell conducted a 
graveside service in Independence cemetery 
Saturday at 10 a.m.  Owens Valley Mortuary 
was in charge of arrangements.
