Marguerita Agnes Wilson Graveside funeral services for the life-long Lone Pine resident Marguerita Agnes Wilson, 94, will be held on Monday, June 30, 11 a.m. at the Mt. Whitney Cemetery. Deacon John Burns of the Santa Rosa Catholic Church will officiate. Visitation for friends and family wishing to call will be held Sunday, June 29, 6-8 p.m. at the Owens Valley Mortuary. Mrs. Wilson was the oldest living member of the Olivas Family, pioneers of Lone Pine. She was born Feb. 29, 1903, in Lone Pine. A homemaker most of her adult life, she died at the home of her niece in LaPalma, Calif. Survivors include nephews George Woods of Long Beach and Norman Starks of Lone Pine; nieces, Marilyn Dozier of LaPalma, Cindy Whitney of Lone Pine, Charlotte Olson of Lone Pine, JoAnne Kessler of Redondo Beach, Charlene White of Oregon and Lora Rice of Idaho; sister Christine Foster of Louisiana; and many grand nieces and nephews.
