Mark Jeffrey Milovich 1948 - 2003 Graveside services will be held for former Bishop resident Mark Milovich, 54, in Bishop at a later date. Additionally, the family will visit with friends on Saturday, May 10, at Summers Funeral Home in Meridian, Idaho from 1-2 p.m. Born to Bob and Peggy Milovich in Bishop on Aug. 14, 1948, Mr. Milovich died on May 4, 2003, at a Nampa Care Center. Mark grew up with one brother, Michael, and 13 first cousins, all within a stone's throw. In 1966, he graduated from Bishop Union High School and attended the University of Nevada, Reno for three years. He went to Europe for nine months in 1970-71. He returned to Reno and in 1978 went to Chichiwawa, Mexico for a year, helping Pamela Harris study to be a doctor. They returned to Bishop and then moved to Las Vegas, where Pam was the head of Emergency at Sunrise Hospital. Mark and Pam parted in 1984 and he moved to Fruitland, Idaho. In 1985, Mark was diagnosed with brittle diabetes, which mean his glucose reading went from one extreme to another. In 1986, he moved to Modesto. He married Glenda Shockley on a visit to Fruitland in 1987 at the Methodist Church in Payette, Idaho. Mark and Glenda had several coffee shops during a 12-year span. He and Glenda went to Costa Rica and Guatemala. Mark could identify most raw beans, roasted beans, and could taste any coffee and tell you the name. He truly loved the coffee business, but his health problems put him in bed, be it hospitals or home. In 1999, the business was finally dissolved and he and Glenda moved to Fruitland with his parents. Mark and Glenda divorced in June of 2000. On Jan. 11, 2002, Mark had an accident in the home and spent almost a year in Caldwell Hospital and Hillcrest Rehab and Care. He was finally able to go home to Fruitland for nearly a year. He is survived by mother and fther, Bob and Peggy Milovich; brother, Michael of Clarkston, Wash; aunts, Dororthy Craig of Lewiston, Ida., Christine Dodd of Bishop, and Emily Milovich of Bishop; stepdaughter, Gina Silva of Florida; uncle, Ray and wife Donna Milovich of Bisohp; first cousins, Jim Craig of Lewiston, Ida., Tom Craig of Reno, Kim Helington of Reno, Wyman Dodd of Kingsberg, Michelle Denault, Susan Carter and Jimmy Rae Heslington, all of Bishop.
