Mrs. Atkinson

Mrs. Martha D. Atkinson, wife of Jared P. Atkinson, passed away Monday morning.  The next day would have been her sixty-fifth birthday.

Mrs. Atkinson, with her husband, came here from Oregon five years ago.  Their home was a property southeast of Bishop until last fall, when they became residents of the town.  Her husband and two daughters, Mrs. H. W. Tremble and Mrs. C. P. Davis, survive her.

We are unable to give other details concerning the deceased lady, beyond mention of her high character freely attributed to her by acquaintances.  The funeral occurred Tuesday afternoon from the Methodist church.
