Services Held Tuesday for Martha E. Meysan

Funeral services were held at the Seventh-Day Adventist Church in Lone Pine Tuesday afternoon of this week for Martha Ellen Meysan, who passed away at the Southern Inyo Hospital June 15.

Mrs. Meysan was born March 22, 1880, in Oregon and lived in Lone Pine for the past 65 years.  She resided at 501 E. Locust St.

Mrs. Meysan is survived by four children, Zelia Meyers, Lavine Howard, and Chas. Meysan, all of Lone Pine, and Elodia Drew of Independence; 14 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.  She is also survived by a sister, Mrs. Mary Thomas of Live Oaks, Calif.; and four brothers, George Hancock and Thomas Hancock of Lone Pine; Amos Hancock of Whittier, and Joseph Hancock of Nicols, Ga.

Funeral services were conducted by Elder L. C. Hesseltine and burial was in the Lone Pine cemetery.
