1928-2004

A celebration of life will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Oct 26 at the Mt. Whitney 
Golf Club in Lone Pine for Cartago resident Maxine Virginia Bills.

Born Dec. 1, 1928 in Cargato, Maxine died Oct. 15, 2004 at Washoe Medical Center 
in Reno, Nev.

Maxine is survived by her husband if 58 years, Leon "Buck" Bills; three sons and 
daughters-in-law, Bob and Emma Bills of Lone Pine, Ronnie and Trish Bills of 
Olancha and Denny and Janet Bills of Inyokern; seven grandchildren, Rusty Bills-
Huerta of Cartago, Stacy Bills-Baker of Phoenix, Pamela Bills-Daugherty of Lone 
Pine, Steven Bills of Ridgecrest, Chelsea Bills of Atascadero, Russ Anderson of 
Olancha and Savannah Anderson of Olancha; and six great-grandchildren, 
Hazelanne, Cassie, Ren, Prestin, Jacqueline and Harlee.
