Michael 'Oly' David Olson
1943-2004

A celebration of life will be held at VFW post No. 8036 in Lone Pine on Friday, 
Nov. 5 at 1 p.m. for Michael "Oly" Olson.

Michael was born on June 11, 1943 in Portland Ore. And died on Oct. 29, 2004 in 
his cabin in Monache.

Mike is survived by his wife of 33 years, Charlotte Ann Olson; and children, 
JeNai Lynn Olson, Jodi Lynn Patton, Henry Olson, Sheyanne Joseph, Kim Smith and 
Beverly Smith.  He was Papa Mike to Shawni, Jacob, Jessianne, Juanita, Nicolas, 
Michelle, TuSho, Taylor and John Michael.  He is also survived by his mother, 
Helen Olson of Lone Pine; step-mother, Wilma Olson; brother and sister-in-law, 
Rick and Laurie Olson; nephew, Ricky Olson; niece, Jennifer Benbrook; brother 
Mark Olson and sisters, Barbara and Shirley; and numerous friends and adopted 
family.
