Morton Anderson died at Big Pine last Saturday morning.  The funeral occurred Sunday 
from the Big Pine church.  Rev. Smith preaching a sermon there, after which the Odd 
Fellows of the Lodge here took charge and gave their service at the cemetery, 
deceased having been a member of a Sulsun lodge.  Mr. Anderson came from Bodie to 
Bishop with O. H. Hill twelve or more years ago, and lived here and at Laws until 
his removal to Big Pine two years since.  He was a man of good personal habits and 
reputation, and had the good opinion of every acquaintance.
