Pearl C. Allen

Funeral services for Pearl C. Allen, 72, will be held at 1 p.m. monday (sic), 
Jan. 3 at the Brune and Buck Mortuary Chapel.  Interment follows at the Pioneer 
Cemetery.  A Cry Dance will be held at her residence beginning at dusk Sunday, 
Jan. 2.

Mrs. Allen was born Sept. 2, 1927 in Big Pine and died Dec. 29 at her home.

A life-long resident of the Owens Valley, she is survived by son and daughter-
in-laws Leland and Monkia Watterson, Dale and Patti Watterson; son Durice Allen; 
daughter and son-in-laws Valerie and Ronald Spoonhunter, Cynthia and Raymond 
Stone, Jr., Mona and Wayne ChasingCrow (sic), Brenda and Justin Davis, and 
Clarice and Harry Andreas; sister Melba Keller; 25 grandchildren, nine great-
grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
