Pete Bruinsma

Funeral services will be held Friday, Feb. 24, at 11 a.m. 
for Pete Bruinsma of Dyer, NV, following his death 
February 18 at Northern Inyo Hospital.  He was 70.

The Rev. Donald W. Smith of the Neighborhood Church will 
officiate at the service, to be held at the Community Hall 
in Dyer, NV.  Burial will be in Fish Lake Valley Cemetery.

Mr. Bruinsma was born August 15, 1913, in Friesland, The 
Netherlands.

He is survived by his wife, Gertrude Bruinsma of Dyer; two 
sons, Richard Bruinsma of Dyer and Cecil Bruinsma of 
Fallon, NV; two daughters, Shirley Long of Elko, NV, and 
Linda Bruinsma of Reno, NV; three brothers, Hessel and 
Rients Bruinsma of Friesland, The Netherlands, and Sam 
Bruinsma of Grenda, CA; six grandchildren, and one great-
grandchild.
