Peter F. Steffen

Funeral services were held Feb. 10 for Peter F. Steffen, a former area resident, following his death 
Feb. 6 at Roseburg Nursing Home in Oregon.  He was 85.

Msgr. James Maloney of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church officiated at the service, held graveside.  
Burial was in the Pioneer Cemetery.

Mr. Steffen was born November 21, 1898, in St. Paul, Minnesota.

He is survived by two sons, Leo Steffen of Reno and Jim Steffen of Myrtle Creek, OR; one daughter, 
Anita Selmar of Buellton, Calfornia; one brother, Ray Steffen of Bishop; two sisters, Lucille 
Hurlburt of Buena Park, California, and Irene Hoboscunskle of San Diego; eleven grandchildren and 
nine great-grandchildren.
