Raymond Lester Tripp
1913 - 2003

Graveside services will be held for Bishop resident Raymond Lester Tripp, 89, on Saturday, May 10, 
at the West Line Street Cemetery in Bishop at 11 a.m.

Born on May 30, 1913 in Sloughouse, Calif., Mr. Tripp died at his home on Wednesday, May 7, 2003.

Raymond lived in the Bishop  area for most of his life, retiring from Union Carbide in 1978.

He is survived by two daughters, Bernette Garbani Powell and Dedonna Garbani, both of Temecula; 
brother, Willard Tripp of Ridgecrest; sister Dorothy McGregor of El Dorado, Calif.; 13 
grandchildren, 32 great-grandchildren; and six great-great- grandchildren.

Raymond, his family said, died quietly "with his family and the Great Spirit by his side."
