Reuben A. "Rube" Rossi

Funeral services were held March 19 for Reuben A. "Rube" Rossi, 68, 
following his death March 16 at the Northern Inyo Hospital.  The 
Rev. Oliver Tanquary of Big Pine Community Methodist Church and 
Wilfred Partridge officiated at the service held at graveside.  
Burial was in Big Pine Cemetery.

Mr. Rossi was born August 14, 1914 at Big Pine.

He is survived by his wife Sara of Big Pine; sons Burl Rossi of 
Fontana, CA and Gary Rossi of Big Pine; daughters Karen Bradley of 
Big Pine and Ruby Cinque of Yucaipa, CA; and 12 grandchildren.

He was the son of Armando Rossi and Susie Change his grandfather 
came to Owens Valley in 1884.

Those who wish may contribute to the Big Pine Volunteer Fire 
Department.
