Richard Godfrey, well known in the southern mining camps of this county,
was found dead on a trail between Junction and Mountain Springs last
Saturday by George Vornberg.  Godfrey left Mountain Springs Thursday
morning, October 4th, and his body was found on the following Saturday. 
The body was in an advanced state of decomposition and was buried near
the place where found.  Deceased was aged about 70 years.
