Rita L. Scarbrough
1932 - 2003

Funeral services will be held Nov. 18 at 11 a.m. at the Neighborhood Church (315 E. South St.) in Bishop for 
Rita L. Scarbrough, a 40-year resident of Inyo County.  Pastor Ben Peavy will officiate.  Interment will be 
at the West Line Street Cemetery.

Born in Cordell, Okla. On September 27, 1932, Rita died Nov. 14, 2003 at Northern Inyo Hospital in Bishop at 
the age of 71.

She is survived by husband, Don Scarbrough of Bishop; son, Glen Riley of Big Pine; son and daughter-in-law, 
Ron and Joy Riley of Bishop; daughter and son-in-law, Michelle and Rick DeLa Rosa of Bishop; grandchildren, 
Dawn Conrad of Corvallis, Ore., Josh Riley of Lake Havasu, Ariz., Cameron Riley and his wife, Becky, of 
Bishop, Richelle Riley of Phoenix, Ariz., and Rickie, Nicholas and Victoria De La Rosa of Bishop; great-
grandchildren, Morgan Riley, Vanessa Conrad, Sara Conrad of Oregon and Nichole, Destinee and Melody Riley of 
Bishop; and sister, Erma Kitchens of the Bay Area.  She is also survived by numerous family, friends and 
business associates.

Donations in Rita's memory may be made to the Salvation Army.
