Robert 'Bob' K. Felton
1927 - 2003

Graveside Masonic Rites for Robert "Bob" Keith Felton, age 76, will be held Saturday, Oct. 18 at 11 a.m. 
at the Independence Cemetery.  A 46-year resident of Independence, he died Oct. 7, 2003 at Southern Inyo 
Hospital.

Bob was born April 21, 1927 in Oxnard to Dewey and Bonnie Webb Felton.  He retired from State Fish and 
Game after 30 years of service at the Mount Whitney Fish Hatchery.  He loved hunting and traveling.  Bob 
was a past master of Inyo Lodge No. 221 and past patron of Kearsarge No. 378 of Independence, Free and 
Accepted Masons.

Bob is survived by his wife Aldene of Independence; sons, Dennis of Oxnard, and Mark and his wife Peggy 
of Independence; daughter, Laurie and her husband Bill of Oregon; stepchildren, Lynelle Romero of Lone 
Pine, Carla Hemming of Montreal, Canada, Craig Oyster of Olancha and Lyle Oyster of Independence; 11 
grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
